Wellington, also died young but competed at International level in show jumping prior to his demise. Harned his “Keur” predicate by siring many “Ster” and “Keur” mares, as well as the approved Keur Preferent Stallion Emilion, Farrington and Glennridge. He produced international show jumpers including VDL Jupiter, Jerome, SP Deka and What a Game. He also sired the dressage horses Bollvorms Ceylon and Luxaflex.
Rebel II Z Full brother of Ratina Z by Ramiro Z has an established reputation as a sire of show jumpers, which is confirmed in the Breeding Guide rankings, where he was the 1998 leader.
The female line of Rebel II Z belongs to the best jumping families in the world. Grandam Heureka Z is a Holstein-bred daughter of Ganeff from lineage 8145. She jumped at International level and won, amongst other feats, the Aachen Grand Prix under Hermann Schridde. In the beginning of the seventies Heureka Z was bought by Zangersheide and was started in the International sport for several years by its founder, Léon Melchior, after which she started her breeding career. Dam of Rebel II Z, Argentina Z, produced various highly successful products, such as the Olympic jumpers Renommee Z ( Ramiro Z } and before mentioned Ratina Z. She is also dam of Rebel I Z ( Ramiro Z } who has proved himself as a progenitor and is also very effective in the female line. Rebel II was started at 1.40m level by Arnold Boerekamps, but is now only used for breeding. Rabiat Z and Rivaal Z are licensed sons of Rebel II Z.
